I had different job experiences before, from Account Manager to Consultant to GS teacher and writer before attending training in reflexology and massage. I decided to take up massage therapy as a hobby and because of my fascination with bodywork and its therapeutic value.
I learned reflexology from an NGO-sponsored livelihood training program. Later on, I decided to train in Swedish, Shiatsu and Shiatsu-Thai. My patients/clients include priests, religious lay leaders, educators and others. I see massage as a therapeutic touch and preventive measure against numerous illnesses.
I passed the Dep't of Health Licensure Exam and placed third (first take). I have also developed my own techniques which include Classical Aromatherapy Massage, Graeco-Swedish Fusion (the most-requested technique), Hoffa-based Greenbay Athletic Massage, Greenbay Body Scrub and Pediatric Massage (for 8-15 year-olds) and continuously do research to develop further my skills. Right now I am (again) creating new techniques that are very much unique.
I have opened up a massage training center (with comprehensive curriculum/program), and also training therapists of some spas and resorts.

I currently work as a bookkeeper in an advertising firm. I am now a certified massage therapist. I plan to put up my own SPA to give clients a very relaxing and rejuvenating massage. My love for massage, keeps me to pursue my dream to have my own SPA soon, because sometimes I got so frustrated with the kind of service (referring to massage therapist) who I wonder if they themselves ever received a sooo... soothing massage... Other therapist says I have very warm hands. Having really warm hands mean having the healing hands. That's because I do my massaging from the principle of making the person better and not doing it mechanically. Deep feeling from within is a lot better than just touching or doing the strokes.
