Part of the appeal of massage for me is to 100% focus on the recipients’s relaxation/pleasure when I’m giving. And to 100% enjoy the pampering when I’m receiving.

There are various factors that come in to play here - time of day, day of week, distance, type of bodywork, condition of clients, etc. If the massage was a good one, the receiver is not likely to be up to par to return a good one right away.  My clients generally feel very relaxed and wish to take a nap or go to sleep.  On the other hand, a sensual massage may lead to different results. We can discuss this prior or at the time of massage.

Same day. I usually like to give the massage first so I don't have to worry about a sugar low and a decrease in energy. Thursdays and Saturdays are the days that work best for me. My strong point is relaxation massage but I can do deep tissue as well.

There is no way to answer this without knowing the partner and any connection between the two. I might be in the mood to give and not care if I receive at all or I may want to give first and then receive. Same goes for the partner. Whatever the two of us decide on is how it will be. It could change half way through and the partner receiving decides to give. It's a question that can only be answered in the moment. But for the most part i do enjoy giving stress relief and pleasure a lot.

We all have preferences but for us the situation, environment, and needs of partners learned organically through conversation and perhaps even body language outweigh personal desires. We enjoy the stress relief, relaxation, and conversation, and because of the pressures of life and its expected or unexpected events, and responsibilities, decreasing that mounted pressure is of utmost importance; as such, approaching a session we strive to keep this in mind as we schedule a time whereupon all partners will truly enjoy a/nother monumental massage experience, whether each partner receives 20 minutes or 2 hours of attention, swapping roles on the same day session is our preference, nevertheless. Some people need longer to recover, so I'm happy just seeing how the other person feels after.
My main issue is just my lower back. So I'm always happy to swap after, if I am to get a massage 1st

I use to be a lumberjack and worked very hard all week so I scheduled my massage for the last visit on Friday. My masseuse was an angel and took as long as necessary to work out the soreness. I moved 1300 miles away, jeez I miss that lady. Dale

In my opinion, if both massage partners have done their job well and they swapped roles within minutes, the last one to receive walks away with a tiny bit of an advantage. Meet a couple of days later and reverse roles. Then after a couple of weeks or so, do the same.
