I personally prefer undraped, as it is more direct and you can feel the body and tension and energy better.  But i am perfectly comfortable with whatever my partner prefers.   For more professional style massages most do prefer draping.   For sensual styles, i feel there is nothing more sensual than skin on skin.

In my professional practice draping is standard BUT I prefer clients who are comfy without draping and are also comfy nude. Towels just get in the way and get all twisted up when they turn bla bla. I just make sure my room is warm enough for them to be nude. I must also say this is a trust issue and can take time to be given that trust.
In an unpaid swap situation I go for nude and undraped and every guy I have swapped with is completely comfy with that.

The draping mandate in school stuck in my head.  I’m always going to drap unless my exchange partner prefers not to be draped.

Undraped would be my preference, but I realize a lot of people would be uncomfortable in that situation.

I don’t see any reason to be draped for sensual massage. For sensual massage, I am fully naked and undraped and I want my massage partners to be fully naked. I enjoy feeling my massage partners’ hands going anywhere and exploring every inch of my naked body, without any restrictions. I remain totally nude and undraped to give full freedom to my massage partners, without any boundaries and barriers, to get intimately involved with me whenever they want.

I dislike draping I want to see and feel the body.

In all honesty. It does not matter to me either way. If the person I'm working on is comfortable not draped that's fine. The same if they want to be draped. It is all about their comfort that matters to me.

Not shy when I get worked on. I've had guys dripping sweat on me, working my body to the core. I like feeling I am their "slab of clay" on their work table. They sensually molding out the bad stuff, opening me up to some really good energy, my body oiled up and melting in the heated pan of their hands.

Undraped, especially mixing up styles I have found the transition much smoother.

I really care if my client wants draping or be undraped - whatever helps the client to enjoy the massage.

Undraped allows you to see what you are doing and see the response the body provides with your pressure and different strokes.

Draping impedes the natural flow of a massage.  I can see that it might be appropriate in the case of a medical requirement for localised attention but for a full body massage, whether therapeutic or sensual, undraped is the only way to go.

Draping puts too many constraints, and prohibits smooth flow and strokes.Besides, it's one less item that has to laundered.

I prefer to work on an undraped body for consistent uninhibited flow. However, a towel can be comfortable for the recipient to keep parts of the body warm during times when the room temperature fluctuates. The decision is truly up to the recipient so I always ask before starting a session.  As for me personally, it depends on my comfort level with the therapist.

Definitely undraped. Being a naturist for decades, I really enjoy wandering around in the nude. Human body is just a beautiful art of nature. Why drape it ?  Love to give or receive a massage in the nude and benefit of that sensual touch free of any constraints.

If my subject is new to me, I prefer he be draped to honor any boundary that he might have.    When it becomes in the way, if he has grown comfortable with me, he has the option to remove it.

I like to start draped. This give my partner some security and warmth. It also gives my partner the option as to what is and is not within their boundaries. They always have the option of removing or lowering the towels as they feel more confident without having to verbalise anything.I like to let my partner decide.

I've only had partly draped & draped, but I think I would be open to undraped with some.

Draping is about warmth and boundaries and respect. I dont care if a client is nude but i dont want them feeling vulnerable or confused about my intent so draping with towel is human, ethical and respectful and does not take away from a massage when done properly. Not draping in my opinion shows the intent is sexual and about taking not giving and does not promote true relaxation

As this gives the client dignity and knowing you are not the seedy kind.

Barely small towel as I'm not always thinking pleasure by I'm showing it. I like the therapist not to be distracted. Either way works. It does feel like teasing..if too uncomfortable I like it removed.

Draping should be to the recipients comfort level, draped or not.

I love nude sensual  massage. Like being nude for both giving and receiving. I turn up the heat. When receiving professional massage I like being draped so masseur can feel more comfortable and I don't get cold.

What is the point if covered up? I want every inch of my body massaged. I have had everything from my ears to my scalp and love it. One guy used to spend a lot of time on my hands and toes and that was really relaxing.

I like to begin draped while warming the client and introducing contact and connection. I tell the client the undraped areas may become progressively greater as the massage unfolds; I simply confirm that the client is still comfortable. I am creative in the use of the drape to preserve some modesty for those who want it. It is always the client's choice as to draping and I am happy to accomodate. I know the question is what do I prefer. I prefer the client to be comfortable and well served.

A little draping is good to help keep body parts warm, but as the massage progresses I'm happy without them, always respectful of my clients wishes.

I prefer to be nude. If the massage is in a therapeutic, clinic-like atmosphere, i understand the draping. But in any other situation, the person receiving the massage should  be nude. Both participants should be nude.

I like to begin with soft draping. It warms the body and brings a sense of comfort. As a massage progresses, areas are uncovered, a progressive ritual of relaxation allows the mind to shut down and focus on the areas being manipulated.

Barely due to it sets a comforting approach for both party's , most of the time it gets discarded some time during the massage when both are consensual to do so ! What ever the client's are happy with ( respect) !

Eventually we both will be completely naked, but I think removing the clothing enhances the sensual part of giving my massage.

As a student attending massage school the answer must be draped. For all the benefits of an undrapped body as a student and potential liscesed therapist that is the current option.  My mentors have instructed that draped always. The first slip from a client  is an accident and readjusted. The Second is the client's choice. I realise ME is not for service paid and as a student I Am not suppose to prefer one way or another and rather default to the client's preference . I'm sure things will be different post MBLEX and licensing   So for now I drape clients and since most folks don't practice draping uncomfortable either way.

I'll use what ever draping you feel comfortable with, it's up to you.

I don't care what type of massage I am doing. An undraped client allows me to go head to toe without ever breaking contact with them and my hands never stop moving on their body. Undraped gives complete access to the body. All that faffing around with a towel can sometimes be annoying. Although - I also understand some people's modesty as well as the fact that a towel can sometimes be good for keeping a client warm.

Easier to have full access to all areas of the body. Range of motion is important for a very relaxing massage.if the massage has a sensual elements then being undraped allows you to have longer strokes bring on pleasure

During my first massage as a recipient in a renowned spa, 3/4 of the time was spent in draping. I thought, "This is a waste," and didn't get another massage for three years. I'm glad I gave massage another try. I prefer to receive a massage undraped, and would prefer to give a massage to a (consenting) undraped recipient, who would perceive that primary attention is given to him/her rather than to protocol.

Trust and honesty are essential and not easily achieved without a sincere desire to share any and alldesires and expectations with a potential partner. Assuming that comfort level is attained, undraped and the erotic anticipation of ones imagination, literally, sends chills thru my entire body! So yes, "undraped"!

If you are participating in a sensual massage both participants should not have anything on their bodies.  We are celebrating our sensual side.

Draping is inconvenient but I would do it if requested, preferably just the minimum with a towel.  We are all adult and know what naked bodies look like.

A towel will always keep the client warm and can be very comforting.

I prefer no draping because it helps to create a natural flow to the massage. No worrying about if the towel is going to fall off or the full draping not being positioned correctly for the area being worked on. The draping takes time that could be better used massaging.

I think strongly that since massages are a very sensual activity; what is the point in being shy about your natural body. It is more unnatural to be clothed than to be naked. Lets get free of the constraints of false modesty.
