Now in Nashville.
I'm so happy to have found this website. I am a naturally intuitive / empathic person, and have been giving massages, since I was 16 to family and friends. I eventually did go to massage school to overcome a paralyzing shyness and awkwardness around people. I immediately knew it was a big mistake on the first day.. I was the only male that enrolled that semester. Let me die now.
As it turned out this lovely group of women in all their varied flavor and charm adopted me as one of their own, and behaved as if there wasn't a male present. We were all comfortable being naked around each other constantly, and we were all comfortable sharing anything and everything and being open. It was a support system I had never known, and never known anything like it since. We became tight friends, and even after school was over, we were still at each others houses trading massages, teaching new things, drinking wine, and talking about life, and even jumping out of planes.
I eventually moved away and lost touch, but I'm looking to get that back. I would like to connect with a new friend or two for regular trades, and to help each other grow, and get comfortable enough with each other to totally open up relax and enjoy. I love to both give and received, and both are incredibly healing and balancing for me.
I'm also happy to work with students a little on all facets as time allows... technique, managing clients and dealing with awkward situations, how to provide that level of support and healing to them without crossing lines (not the same as your massage therapist friends), and on things like meditation, diet, intention, and being present. What you think, do eat, and feel is going to affect your ability to heal and relax others.
As time allows, and as long as the vibe is right and your stable, I'm also willing to help couples or friends learn and get to the point where they can take care of each other.
