Sagittarian, chatted to him when I first came here as a non-member. He has been my second swap: deep and concentrated in the way he worked on my muscle tissues, washing away all that accumulated lactic acid. He said it would hurt the next day in a ‘good’ way, and indeed it did. There were times I felt the pressure may have been too much for me to withstand, but I persevered because I knew I would reap the benefits afterward. We exchanged on different levels: Swedish (and a touch of Reiki) and deep tissue, and I hope we delivered to each other a taste (or the best of) two different styles of massage. I would strongly recommend Sagittarian to people who are into sports and they will benefit from him immensely. I look forward to a repeat experience.
There was something outstanding about Sagitarian's reviews, and the way he reviewed other therapists that caught my attention. He sounded like he knew much about the craft, I then really wanted to arrange a swap. It took some working with my schedule to finally meet and I'm very glad I did. In communications Sagitarian is polite, and quickly responsive to return messages AND he was also patient to work around my schedule. On the table he was professional and skilled at devising a treatment that was suitable for my requirements... a refreshing discovery.. Firm and satisfying, Sagitarian knows exactly what he is doing.
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending him to anyone who is looking for an intelligent, skilled massage exchange.

Sagittarian provides the best deep tissue massage I have experienced. As the other reviews mention it is deep and at time uncomfortable but the relief and benefit after the massage are amazing. Sagittarian has a vibrant, positive and nurturing personality that puts you totally at ease. I would highly recommend his massage to anyone looking for real benefits from their massage. Can't wait to get back for another session.
I set Sagittarian a challenge by asking him to apply maximum pressure as I had not yet had a massage that I felt was as strong as I would like. The challenge was met with aplomb as this was the deepest deep tissue massage I have had. Sagittarian is a true professional who knows exactly what he is doing. If you get the opportunity to exchange with him, go for it!!
Sagittarian gives a great massage. As most of the other reviewers state, he gives a very deep sports massage and while that can cause some temporary discomfort, he certainly knows what he's doing and I would rate him higher than many professional sports massages I have paid for!
As I'm fairly new to massage, he was also very patient and encouraging with me, and a very welcoming and friendly host. Totally recommended!
I enjoyed my massage from Sagittarian, however his deep muscle touch at times is just to strong and can move from a good strong touch to enjoyable. On the positive side he did reach muscles that have not been reached!
If you are looking for a DEEP work, coming to Sagittarian is the right place to come. He will sqeeze every knot until they surrender, and every muscle until they are soft as a baby. It is hard work for both the masseur and the client, and not for the faint-hearted... While I will be pressed to say I have enjoyed the process, I certainly enjoy the results. I have asked for a deep work, and that's what I've got, for sure.
I am sure that Sagittarian has a range of more relaxing and pleasant techniques, which we did not have time to explore on this occasion because my tense muscles required so much work. I am looking to repeat the unique deep treatment he offers (I have not had such a thorough work from anyone else in the UK) for a few times and then, when my knots are sorted and muscles are relaxed, try to see what other techniques I can learn from him.
Carlos (Sagittarian) hosted a swap with me and if there is an award such as a Seal of Excellence he would have this. Unprepared as I was for the experience of sports deep tissue massage I was at first unsure if I could cope with deep muscle pressure, but I did and the experience was magic. I would also award Carlos the skills award for best host of the year. Once home I sleept like a baby and wake up although a little achey I felt like a million dollers. This is a good example of this massage swap site and I will difenately keep in contact with Carlos to arrange another exchange, Excellent you have exceeded the star rating, best regards Paulo
