When a work traveler of Pedal’s renown reaches out to schedule a session, the answer is yes! And I’m so glad to have exchanged with him. At 6’ 5”, or so, he is likely the tallest man I’ve worked on and I noticed the difference in being able to do long strokes on his body as opposed to guys who are shorter. Pedal quickly relaxed into the table and I spent an enjoyable hour practicing a Swedish session with some mixed modalities, mostly on his upper back, where I found a few knots. Under his hands, I quickly found myself relaxing and observing his advanced skills. Pedal is superior in stretching, something at which I’m not skilled. And, after I’d shared having recently taken a flight and was feeling “folded,” he effortlessly moved me on the table to unwound my tight muscles. It was exactly what I needed! Pedal is an easy-going, generous, professional-level talented and thoughtful exchange partner. He mentioned that his travels bring him DC area at times; I can only hope our paths cross again. Pedalpusher. G is a whole new experience in soothing. After nearly two years of missing each other in London, Miami, [and maybe Melbourne, I forget LOL] we learned (short notice) that we could meet for a quick swap in Washington DC. Bad weather on top of an already tight schedule made driving to his place pretty difficult. But when I arrived, from start to finish, he was a one-man symphony of relaxation. No room here for details; let's just say that I think my resting heart rate has been permanently lowered by spending time with him. ;) He is an awesome, welcoming and generous host.
He accomplished more in his brief time working on me than ANYONE I have ever exchanged with. I am not easy to impress when it comes to technical skills, but Pedalpusher is truly amazing. Trigger point perfection. And some neuromuscular work that was both precise and highly effective. It is difficult to trust an unlicensed person with maneuvers that could cause serious injury, especially to the neck and shoulders. But G knows what he is doing — it’s clear from his hand positions, angles of approach and excellent pressure. He pushed my limits to the max — and I still feel fabulous. After the artistry he demonstrated, I felt completely ham-handed and inadequate when I started working on him.
Pedalpusher has extraordinary hands and it is clear that he is well trained. One can learn a lot from is professional techniques, as I did. If he is every in town again, we will definitely do another exchange. He is the real deal!
Today I had the pleasure to meet and exchange massages with Pedalpusher. He came to my place, we chatted a little and got on the table right away. He does some very good stretches for tension points and overall body flexibility to get rid of knots, I must say that I needed this. Pedalpusher takes his time and was in no rush to finish. It was truly a great experience and we will stay in touch and hopefully repeat the experience.
Enjoyed an excellent massage with this very tall gentleman. His touch was very good. Especially enjoyed the stretches which while a bit painful, did relieve some tension in shoulders and back. Highy recommended.
Having now had a massage from Pedalpusher and read all of his reviews, it’s difficult to say something that already hasn’t been said. He is clearly very passionate about massage and his training in Thailand obviously shows. He has a natural ability to isolate key areas of stress and work on them in a strong and deliberate way. He also gave some excellent stretches, which again demonstrate his knowledge of physiology of the body. All in all a brilliant experience and I would highly recommend him. Thanks.
Pedalpusher is far too kind in his review of me, I'm not sure where to begin with his review from me. As I've said quite a few times there are too many outstanding reviews, so they can't all be true, can they? Well in this case it is 100%. An incredible massage, brilliant strong pressure but with a sensitive and considered touch. Really exceptional. Perfect combination of pressure and stretching, from the perfect host. Excellent communication and very respectful, I couldn't ask for more, and I'll definitely be back for another swap as soon as possible.
I looked forward to meeting up with Pedalpusher as he had so many excellent reviews - and I wasn't disappointed when we met up at last a couple of days ago. He has the experience and confidence to give an excellent and (where it matters) a deep pressure massage. He also has a good body to massage. All in all, a thoroughly relaxing time. I highly recommend him!
Friendly and welcoming man with a good massage environment set up. Excellent strong pressure and techniques for the deep tissue massage. I slept very well afterwards! Would certainly recommend as per all of his other positive reviews.
