Anton delivered a vigorous and energetic deep tissue massage and incorporated many excellent stretches. He was also very detailed and accurate in his work and his experience shone through. I massaged him first and actually I felt a little guilty because he put more weight into his massage, but next time (I hope for another exchange) I'll give a stronger massage - I think that's what he needs!
A breath of fresh air. J is a good communicator, genuine and straightforward, with an upbeat and optimistic personality. She was relaxed and receptive on the table and was happy for me to practice some newly learnt techniques as well as my standard repertoire. It was a pleasure to massage her and I hope to enjoy the experience again soon!
An experience that was both flawless and floorless, as I was walking on air for days afterwards. The first exchange with TF really opened my eyes to how powerful massage can be, and how beneficial. Since then we've had several more swaps and he has taken the time to help improve my technique. He gives honest feedback and tips for improvement, while also communicating appreciation for massage that demonstrates integrity and focus. If you're lucky enough to have an exchange with TF then don't rush - give him at least 1 hour of your best ability. You will be rewarded with an epic, time-warping massage that will make you feel like you've just spent a month on vacation.
I've enjoyed several massage sessions with Betty. She is friendly, well organized and punctual and knows exactly how she wants to be massaged and gives plenty of detailed feedback throughout the session, which in my opinion makes her ideal for less experienced therapists who are genuinely seeking to improve their massage technique, particularly Swedish style effleurage and stroking techniques as well as flowing styles like Lomi. Beyond the massage sessions, I've also found her to be a generous and caring person who goes out of her way to help those who earn her respect.
Pedalpusher arrived right on time with a bright and open smile that immediately won my trust. I was on the table first and he began the massage with some very light centering touch to put me at ease. He then proceeded with a highly effective combination of stretches and strong massage. Be sure to let him know beforehand if you have any bad joints because the stretches will give them a good workout. I particularly enjoyed the stretches of the shoulders and chest, which opened them up and allowed for deep inhalation and improved breathing. There was also some nice detailed massage around the scapulas - right where I needed it. He finished as he began, with light touch, which contrasted well with the strong massage. He was focused, confident and respectful throughout.
