This was a most enjoyable and rewarding exchange with someone with whom I had been in contact for a little while, but had not had the chance to meet until I was visiting Edinburgh. As well as being an excellent and attentive host, marcusp took his time over the whole session and neither of us felt rushed in any way, despite the fact I had a later train to catch. His massage style is proficient and experienced, varying the bodywork in a way that I am sure reflects his personable and considerate approach with clients. As well as delivering a first class massage and a therapeutic session, marcusp also made me feel very welcome and comfortable. I met up with Lucio at short notice yesterday and it was a most impressive exchange. While he says he does not have much experience, he has naturally gifted hands for delivering good bodywork and adopts an intuitive method for the massage that works really well. He will make a good massage partner and I look forward to our next exchange.
I met up with manchestermassageman on 21st June and we had a good exchange. This guy know what he is doing and offers a thorough workover, reflecting his professional skills. Highly recommended to those able to offer a reasonable session in exchange and I hope to meet up with him again on my next trip north.
We met on 26th March for what turned out to be a most enjoyable and therapeutic session as I had a bad journey getting there and was running late. I was met with a friendly and welcoming reception that soon made me forget all those troubles as I was treated to a most competent and satisfying massage session from a guy who knows what he is doing and approaches the whole session in a measured and competent way. His experience of massaging over a number of years certainly shows and I was a different person by the end of the session. I also enjoyed our quality conversation that made the experience that much more stimulating. Turu provided a most professional and thorough long-lasting massage session when we met for a swap and I lost track of how many times we changed the cd. In common with the other reviews he is receiving, this massage partner is seriously good at what he does, reflecting that this is his profession. The unhurried, thorough bodywork combining Chinese and sports-style techniques including deep tissue was much appreciated after a hardworking rowing outing a few hours before and left me feeling like a new person. His is a hard act to beat and one to be thoroughly recommended to all those able to offer a decent massage in return.
Chriscross and I met up for a swap in London on 5th August and it turned into a really good worthwhile session. His medical training gives him useful experience in the overall approach to the session and to the detailed bodywork at which he is more than proficient. I found the massage satisfyingly firm and responsive so that I really felt i had received a good therapeutic treatment by the end of the session. tigertamer and I met up on 15th March using his flat for the swap, that was most convenient, providing a pleasant and comfortable environment. He provided a most impressive therapy session that was unhurried and relaxing, while working the body where needed to ease tensions and stiffness. He may not have professional qualifications, but this guy is a naturally gifted bodyworker and uses a fine balance between strength and softness in the massage strokes, while punctuating the movements with very definite start and end points so that you gain the impression that each stroke is fine tuned to your body. This is a skilled and articulate practitioner who would make a first class professional if he were ever to choose to follow that vocation.
lazyeye and I arranged a massage swap at short notice on 22nd December at his place that was impressively welcoming with an Aladdin's cave appeal, as we were surrounded by candles. He demonstrated a fine knowledge of massage bodywork during the session and was both at ease himself and very much able to make his partner relaxed and comfortable. A most impressive session and one to be recommended to all those able to offer a decent massage in return. Also it is worth reading his profile before the session be clear on the form, in that it is what it says, rather than what it may appear.
Londonman and I met up on 14th August for a swap and it worked out very well indeed. He has good strong hands that give off remarkable warmth when he is working on you and provided a thorough range of competent strokes that delivered a very competent massage. He is naturally strong but did not cause any discomfort during the session, even during the deeper and stronger bodywork. Thoroughly recommended for others to meet up with him and I hope to swap with him again soon.
