Even if his friend was ill, I don’t feel there is any justification for being rude to me. I don’t recommend organising to swap with him due to my upsetting experience.
I’d been looking forward to exchanging with Gio but the sad truth is that life happens. If you tell someone in kind words you’re sorry you can’t make the massage exchange because your friend has had a bloody accident while cycling with you and you need to stay at the A&E, you don’t want them to make it all about their weekend getting ruined. (The bloody scenes and accident is also the reason I didn’t write to him right away, I had a few hours of just getting a hurt person to the A&E.)
I was shaking having seen blood and navigating long wait and A&E care so of course I came across as terse and rude (I’d apologised to Gio again when I realised I was snapping due to the accident experience). Despite knowing my circumstances, his review of me says a lot about him and I’d not be organising a swap with him in the future.
adam70 is a great guy, friendly, smiley, clean..he made me feel comfortable immediately and gave me a great massage in Catford despite the heat.
