During my time as a member of this site I have had a good number of really good massage swaps; this morning I had an experience with WildHorses which ranks with the very best!
This slim, fit, and powerful young man has all the attributes required of a superb masseur. He has a wide variety of effective massage moves, from a variety of traditions; he is observant, empathetic, imaginative, and at times downright mischievous; he can work deep and powerfully just as well as he works light and energetically; he keeps a good clear rhythm and balance to his massage and is very good an inspiring confidence and relaxation in the lucky person he is massaging. Very highly recommended; however good and experienced you are, you will learn something useful from this very talented masseur! |

fredo50 says that he has very little experience of massage apart from head/face/shoulders work which he performs as part of his professional activities as a hairdresser. That being the case, he has taken to massaging the rest of the body like a duck takes to water! I received a really relaxing, thorough, and empathetic massage and I am very glad to have exchanged with him. Yes, he does lack a lot of the 'technical' stuff, but that is FAR less important than delivering a thoughtful and caring massage.
He is already at 4-star standard just on natural ability. I would ask lots of you to swap with him to help him acquire the tecnicalities so that he will be even better when next I swap with him, which I want to do before very long. RECOMMENDED now -with the clear ability to be even better with more practise. |

jellybean is a caring, competent, and thorough masseur with a reasonable amount of technical skill and a vast amount of empathy for and engagement with the body that he is massaging. He says that his is a bit 'rusty'; all I would day is that the 'rust' was polished off in the first few minutes and he quickly relaxed into performing his massage which I very much enjoyed receiving. This man is well worth swapping with, he has a warm house and a comfortable massage table, and he will only benefit from more practise. Four stars now with the clear potential for 5 later!

| Raymond3 is the complete article as a masseur. As a Professional he would be well above average, as a Bodywork Enthusiast he is exceptional. He has a wide range of movements, speed, depth, style, weight and an inate sense of balance and rhythm. There is no uncertainty or hesitation but a focus on completeness of treatment which makes for a superb massage experience. naturalindian is a great guy to swap massages with. He is hard-working, fit, well muscled, very attentive to detail, pays close attention to the body he is in contact with, and he picks up new moves very quickly. I really enjoyed our swap and I am still only going to give him 4 stars as a 'Bodywork Enthusiast'. It is unfair; but I do this because I know that with more practise in both giving and receiving massage he will be significantly better than he is now. Go on, give this fellow more practise opportunities and enjoy yourself whilst helping a talented masseur to develop!

krisco has not had any formal massage training, and this is evident from the way he performs his massage. He works very hard, pays the most meticulous attention to the responses of the body he is working on, and he has no restricting preconceptions about what is or is not a good massage move. Being massaged by him is like a breath of fresh Spring air - a truly wonderful experience.
Why then do I only give him 4 stars? Because he has the strength of character and conviction to be able to undertake some formal massage training WITHOUT losing his attitude of care and concern for the body he is touching. With some training and more practise, which I hope some of you will offer to provide for him, he will be a really wonderful masseur. I intend to swap with him again before too long and would also hope to be able to give him some pointers on how to achieve his marvellous effects with much less effort. Very good now with undoubted capacity for improvement - Warmly Recommended |

Chazza has a very relaxed, warm, and empathetic approach to massage; he is caring and attentive to the needs of the body and muscles he is working with, and he works carefully and thououghly. I really enjoyed my exchange with him and I was greatly impressed by his calm and competent manner, it was difficult to believe that he had not had much experience of giving massage. This is a man who deserves to be swapped with, as he will undoubtedly get even better as he gains experience and learns more of the 'standard' massage movements. Four stars now and it will not be long before he will get well-deserved 5 star reviews! August 2010. Now well worth 5-stars as an amateur |
