I've just had a very good exchange with tgarden. He has a well set-up and organised massage roon and performs a really professional massage. He has all the moves and does a very effective, well-balanced job. I found it easy to arrange the swap and look forward to working with him again before too long. Highly Recommended
While on holiday in the Canary Islands, I have had the very great pleasure of exchanging massages with lanzate. He does very effective things with lots of warm oil and warmed, rounded, crystals enclosed in a cloth to start off the treatment. Although he is technically an 'amateur' he is a very great enthusiast and has a high degree of empathy intuition and technical skill.
Although he keads a busy life, it was quite easy, given a bit of notice, to set-up the swap and I am very happy to award the five stars and hope that those of you who visit this lovely and relaxing part of the world will also have the pleasure of exchanging massages with him.
APRIL 2009. Marek1 is a skilled and very effective therapist. I was fortunate enough to be on the receiving end of a Thai Leg Massage which has done a lot to relax my legs and hips. He is able to work with strength and at great depth with perfect control which results in a very powerful treatment. Marek has a large, comfortable and very well equipped treatment room on the lower floor of a posh hotel and he is very interesting and knowledgeable about his therapies. I received an excellent treatment and have no hesitation in rating him as 'Highly Recommended' I am looking forward to swapping again later in the year.
SECOND SWAP JULY 09
This time the swap was mainly conventional Swedish with overtones of Sports, Thai, and Remedial. Not only did Marek1 do a superb job but he was joined on this occasion by a visiting fellow-countryman who is also well qualified and they both delivered superbly effective deep massage treatments. The whole exchange was great fun and very educational - I just wish that I could award more than 5 stars!!
For an amateur with limited opportunities to practise 'andy1978' shows an impressive natural talent and capability. His instinct for massage, and the welfare of the body he is working upon, is very good and he is already able to work slowly, deeply, gently, and effectively. He can only get better as he experiences, and hopefully also witnesses and learns, a wider variety of techniques and gets more practical experience. He is empathetic and thorough and also has that inate sense of relaxed mischief which can so often bring an unexpected and thoroughly enjoyable variation of style into a massage swap. I want to swap with this fellow again, soon, and have suggested that he could learn a lot in 3-way swaps. Highly recommended.
ME-61031 is an excellent aromatherapist with a good instinct both for the blending of oils and the light 'effleurag-ey' massage which goes with this specialisation so often. On that basis he would undoubtedly be worth 5 stars.
Additionally he is a very enthusiastic 'amateur' general masseur who is already a joy to swap with but, like so many without the requisite training and experience, is just a bit limited in his repertoire of 'standard' massage moves (on this basis 4-stars). Please do not misunderstand me; he is good, attentive, observant and empathetic and I both recommend him for exchanges and want to exchange with him again on a regular basis. He will get even better when he gains more experience, and I hope that he will get good swaps in the future to enable him to progress quickly as he gains more technical knowledge.
I have enjoyed a long, leisurely, and thorough massage exchange with MrScruffles in very civilised surroundings at his place. As he does not havea table of his own I brought along mine.
MrScruffles is a very attentive, enthusiastic and empathetic 'amateur' with whom it is well worth-while exchanging, he learns fast and responds well to massage too.
I have just had the very great pleasure of swapping with Papageno; he is an enthusiastic, attentive, very versatile, and competent therapist. He adapts well to the body he is working on and he does a really thorough job. I am thoroughly relaxed after the session. Like so many really good therapists he is keen to learn, and practise more; I, for one, am very willing to support him in this and want to swap with him again several more times.
riofunrio is a well organised,caring, and thoughtful masseur who does a good and thorough job and is very well worthwhile swapping with if ever you get the chance. It can take a while to set-up the exchange because he is a busy fellow. Well recommended.
April 2009. ibdi is a 'natural' at the art of massage and has taken the brave decision to convert his raw ability to greater precision and skill by undertaking a formal training in conventional 'Swedish' massage. We have swapped several times over the last year and he is getting better and better as he gains experience, technical skills, and expertise. I intend to continue to swap with him as it is already a really good experience.
Clearly a four-star 'Recommended' already; ibdi will quickly gain a well-deserved 5th star before too long.

ibdi's capability and expertise have both increased markedly as a result of his enthusiasm, training, and massage swapping. He carries out his treatments in a really relaxed and authoritative manner and it is a real pleasure to receive from him. The fifth star is now awarded!
Bodywork99 is a really talented 'amateur' who has a real zest for massage, a great sense of fun, and a great empathy with the body he is massaging. He has not been formally trained and this limits his repetoire of moves; nevertheless the things he can do, he does with style, imagination, care and to enormously good effect. I really enjoyed our swap and cannot fault his concentration and effort to deliver a memorable, energising and relaxing treatment. I am therefore slightly ashamed of myself for awarding only 4 stars; it is not so much that bodywork99 is not well worth swapping with already, it is more that he could, and will, be so much better when he has gained more experience in his art. I am keen to be part of his education and development, wish to swap with him again, and would recommend that lots of you assist hism in his project to gain more experience and technical knowledge.
