On his way around the World, WorldTraveller23 stopped off in Guildford to have his first exchange on this site. Scheduling this exchange was really easy and efficient.
I am aware that I am somewhat harsh in my 'star' allocations but I am only slightly apologetic about this. WT23's massage was slightly hesitant at first but became more fluid and rhythmical as time went on; So it is 4-stars now Recommended, based on the massage given. I have no doubt at all that 5-stars will be awarded soon as he gains more confidence and experience (and learns to stand close to the table to preserve his back!) This man is a pleasure to massage, learns quickly and has the potential, especially if lots of you swap with him, to become very good indeed. I hope that our paths cross again so that I can witness this. |

Swapping with elcheco was easy to arrange and well worth while.
I received a very well organised, deep, powerful and comprehensive massage that searched-out and rectified troublesome areas that I had not noticed before the enquiring fingers probed the spots ! He delivered a wonderful variety of movements with both light energetic strokes and slow, deep, well-focussed, and superbly controlled work on major muscles.( I am going to copy these to the benefit of my next sports massage customers !) I look forward to swapping again before too long. This man is a very professional and effective masseur and is "Highly Recommended" - not only for swapping but also for any friends you may have in the area that would wish to employ him to deliver effective bodywork - they will get great value for money |

Aesthir is close to the end of his ITEC Level 3 training with ambitions to progress to sports massage and perhaps Physiotherapy. As a Bodywork Student he is a clear 5-stars (but significant progress and practise would be needed to translate that into a Bodywork Professional 5-stars).
He has a very clear focus on what is needed in his routine to demonstrate what he has been taught, and a determination to stick to that until qualified. Nevertheless he possesses a remarkable degree of confidence working on the body and is clearly developing the quality of empathy that is so often the difference between a good massage and a wonderful one. The swap was very easy to arrange; and only the rush hour vagaries of SWR prevented him form arriving precisely on time ! I look forward to swapping again after he has qualified - and I have confidence that he will pass well. |

As a self-stated beginner and Bodywork Enthusiast - Exceptional.
ice20307 picked-up both basic and advanced moves very quickly indeed - he was well able to carry out a good relaxation massage at the first time of asking. He has a good knowledge of the structure of the body, and combines that well with a natural empathy and ability to learn quickly. The swap was easy to arrange with no hassle. Very well worth swapping with. |

Whilst on holiday on Gran Canaria recently I had the very great pleasure of a massage exchange with lpa35014.
He is a talented and friendly masseur with a great variety of moves, speeds and pressures; all exactly tuned to the needs of the body being massaged. I learned a lot, and future receivers of my massages will benefit from this too ! As a "Bodywork Enthusiast" Grancanaria has clearly progressed from 4 to 5-stars.
His massage is organised, calm, thorough, and very sensual where appropriate. He has a really good empathy and connection to the body he is massaging, and is unstinting with his time. A massage table set up on a shaded balcony with stupendous scenery all around is really ideal; and the occasional pithy comment from the resident parrot only adds to the ambience. I have no hesitation in saying "highly recommended" I really want to swap with this man again before too long. |

It was easy to arrange a swap with Ron88; and very well worthwhile!
He has a small but warm and comfortable treatment space close to Wandsworth Road Overground Station. I really enjoyed the swap both ways; he said that it was his first , and was rather over-modest about his capabilities. I have no hesitation in saying 4-stars now, with the clear capability for 5-stars soon as he gains confidence with more swaps. I certainly want to swap again before too long. Recommended |

It was well worthwhile taking time to find a mutually convenient time to swap with Ramansiva; once the diary opportunities had been identified the swap was quickly and easily arranged.
It was R's first swap on this site; although he was a bit nervous at the start he quickly settled, with increasing confidence, into a relaxed and energising routine. Definitely recommended as I am confident that this fit young man will continue to improve with more practise; I hope many of you find opportunities to help him achieve this; I certainly want to swap with Ramansiva again before too long, 4-stars. |

December 2018 update
Another wonderful swap with Akhmam. He demonstrated his Hydro massage with a lot of different preparations applied to the skin and washed off with copious amounts of warm water under the shower. This was followed with a really effective deep tissue massage to address and sort all my areas of tight muscle.. The whole massage was just as effective as last time but it seemed to. be much smoother, rhythmical, and even more relaxing. Quite often a first massage can be a bit 'edgy' with the second and subsequent being more connected and meaningful as there is a greater fund of mutual confidence. I am really looking forward to future swaps as he completes his case studies. Easily maintaining the 5-star standard September 2018 I have had the privilege of receiving one of the longest, deepest, and most comprehensive massages I have experienced through this site. Akhmam has a full repertoire of thorough massage moves in a variety of styles - and he demonstrated them all on me over a period of about two hours. He found areas of tight muscle that I had never identified in myself - and sorted them comprehensively. I found it quite difficult to collect myself afterwards to return a serviceable massage - fortunately this fit and flexible man had little that needed attention so I was able to make a reasonable, but shorter, return. On our next swap I intend to re-balance on time! I look forward to another swap sometime quite soon and would love to do a 3-way swap so that I can see how he performs some of the really deep moves. Highly recommended - but be prepared for a really deep and thorough session! |
