I arrived at gjd's with a natural apprehension when meeting anyone for the first time. I left with a sense of complete relaxation (I slept for nine hours straight afterwards). All thanks to gjd's superb application of a great variety of techniques, rhythms and pressures. For an apparently self-learner his skills were beyond many professionals I have experienced. All enhanced by his openness in hosting and generosity in sharing. After a very handsome welcome, he moved us straight into massaging turn-and-turn about and a couple of hours drifted delightfully by. Throughout, we chatted comfortably about massages and at the end I enjoyed a bonus of a really well informed and intelligent discussion of current affairs. I suppose it helped that I found myself in total sympathy with his take on living in the UK.
gjd thoroughly deserves 5 stars. I would give him more if I could.
I had a great exchange with gjd, nice and easy to set up a meeting, he gave good directions, and came to meet me outside his apartment. After a shower we got down to the massage straightaway, using coconut oil, with me working on his back, and that's when we really chatted and got to know each other better. Very friendly, and very interesting to talk with. As for his massage technique - pretty much faultless I'd say! Firm, a lot of manipulation of the limbs, inspired by his knowledge of Thai massage, especially when he was working on my front, and did so much lifting and pulling of limbs that I really wanted to remember, but was so in the moment that I had to just relent and enjoy it. I would highly recommend gjd, and look forward to a further exchange.
I have a great massage exchange with gjd last Tuesday. He was very friendly and welcoming and the massage was very very good. Thoroughly recommended. Hope we can meet for another exchange next time I am in London.

I met up with gid yesterday for an exchange which was second to none. A really friendly guy from the moment he arrived, a very proficient Masseur with a fantastic intuitive touch and a very interesting conversationalist. gid used deep firm strokes to relieve the knots in my upper back and shoulders and long lighter flowing strokes in other areas where a more relaxing massage was appropriate. He is a very intuitive and confident massage giver who used his skilful hands to ensure all muscle groups were attended to and also a great person to massage.
I highly reccomend gid andl look forward to exchanging with him again soon.
This was a superb and unhurried exchange with gjd. He is a welcoming and friendly guy with a calm, laid-back personality that is very conducive to relaxing massage. gjd's place was nicely set up with a comfortable new massage table which proved a great platform for his extensive massage skills. For someone with no formal training gjd's massage was extremely accomplished ranging from deep firm strokes through to gentler, soothing rhythms. All in all this was a great experience and one I'd recommend highly.
I just had a massage from gjd...and it was great. He is a really nice man and an excellent masseur. His touch was firm and strong and at the same time sensitive. You can tell that he has been doing this for a while. I hope to swap with him again soon. I am very impressed.
Had an exchange with this guy. A very relaxed, laid-back and genuine guy with great massage technique. His relaxed approach transferred to me (I may have momentarily dozed off....oops) but I found it to be an excellent standard of massage. Firm enough to work on my knots but also very relaxing. Friendly, decent chap who I hope to exchange with again soon.
