matthew45 is a fantastic masseur and a very nice guy. His therapeutic style is mostly on the relaxation versus deep tissue side of the spectrum, and it is wonderful. This was apparently the first time that he gave a massage on a mat, but he was still flawless. Great guy, great massage, highly recommended!
matthew45 provides a wonderfully relaxing, Swedish-style massage. His pace and rhythm are methodical and deliberate and I could feel his healing good intentions through his warm hands.
If you have the chance to get or exchange massages with him, don't miss that opportunity. I'm sure glad I didn't.

I have exchanged two sessions with Mathew45. I was at ease the moment I met him. He has a therapy room that is clean and softly lit, with serene music, and a feel of peaceful and calming energy, which also reflects his own energy. He has a light though intuitive touch that relaxes stress and tension, which is the first and foremost goal of massage. I sensed that he enjoyed giving me a massage as much as I enjoyed receiving it. I highly recommend him and I look forward to exchanging more sessions.
I prefer some pressure with my massage so when matthew45 started to work on me, I thought, this is going to be too light. I was wrong. matthew45's technique is likely described more on the Swedish end of the bell curve rather than the Rolfing end. He is intuitive and methodical and does not watch the clock. I was so impressed that I wanted him back again as soon as I could get him. He is super nice and put me right at ease. I recommend him to all (even those who think they need deep tissue...he gets there, he is just softly persistent about it).
