Really nice guy, gave a terrific massage. Kbmuscle has naturally intuitive, sensitive hands and has picked up some great technique. Friendly, straightforward and respectful. After giving easygoingclt a two hour professional level massage, I offered to receive at a different time since it was late and I wanted him to enjoy his state of relaxation. He seemed to enjoy the massage and was courteous at the time, even giving me a hug as I left. However he has made no contact since and not bothered to open emails sent subsequently. This was not a "receive only" situation but an agreed-upon exchange.
Had the most wonderful massage today from meturner. She has a lovely touch and a radiant personality. It was one of those massages that reminds me of why I love bodywork. Perfection-- I don't know what else to say. Totally recommended!

I've had the good fortune of exchanging twice now with RelaxAchyDTX while he was visiting in town and both times were fantastic sessions. He has excellent pressure, ranging from firm to deep tissue as needed, and the professional knowledge and experience to address the body's needs and any problem areas. As he finished my last session I left a warm glow move up from my feet through the entire body. He's warm and engaging with a lively smile and effervescent laugh, and I hope we will meet again when he travels through.
Northdfwguy does not have much experience with massage, I still enjoyed the session very much. His hands were soft and fluid, and his touch was intuitive and relaxing. He is a very respectful and kind gentleman, easy-going, and someone I hope to see again if he visits the area.
As the other reviews attest, Rick123 is an extremely friendly and welcoming guy-- engaging, respectful and gentlemanly. His massage skills are superb as well, honed from years of experience and constant learning, although he is unnecessarily quick to remind you that he is not a professional. I enjoyed meeting BuddyAFriend immensely. He's respectful, considerate and a pleasure to be around. His touch was firm yet sensitive and he knew a number of good stretches from his experiences in yoga and receiving massage for years. He asked to learn a few Watsu moves after I gave him a session and he picked up the moves easily. Already terrific, his desire to learn more coupled with the innate quality of his touch means he's only going to continue to get better. I look forward to seeing him again when he visits the area. Mark/Rob (or whatever name he decides to use) and I scheduled a massage for Saturday 4/23/16 at 1pm after 49 emails back and forth on and off this site. That should've been the first clue... He misses without communication before or after appointment time and when finally confronted, responds with "It was a tough day work wise." Might be an excuse for something, but not for poor manners and wasting my time. Deal with at your own risk.
I had a wonderful exchange with jobita. Due to bad weather/traffic, I arrived a little late and he was on a limited time schedule, so our two hour trade felt a little rushed on my part. He had the room nicely set with dim lights, candles and music and had an aromatherapy massage oil that was scented to perfection. He's not formally trained but has apparently received enough massage to know how to perform an excellent one. He's extremely considerate and polite, which just added to the experience. I hope we'll have more time on our next exchange so he can receive an unhurried session from me. Nice guy!

The experience was both therapeutic and relaxing. Austinbodyworker has a very gentle spirit and a comforting touch. I had an excellent session from massagetrade2002. His years of experience showed in his quality of touch and sequence of movements. The 90-minute session flew by in no time. He was also very comfortable to be around and easy to converse with. A great trade overall.
I had an absolutely fantastic massage trade with cebaustx. Everything about the session he provided was spot on: perfect pressure, great sequence, amazing touch, etc. He had a nice table and setup, and was an accommodating and generous host. I finally met up with massageinsight and got to experience his work. It was the first time someone used Shea butter on my skin, and it provided a heavy drag on the strokes, which resulted in a massage that was slow, deep and deliberate. massageinsight has quality touch, a strong sense of the body and its needs, along with thorough knowledge of anatomy. Despite all of his clinical training and interest, the massage never felt cold or detached, but personal and connected to the body he was working on. I experienced several new moves and stretches, and appreciate his unique approach to the body. massageinsight is both professional and personable, and I look forward to seeing him again.
For a beginner who has only given three or four massages before, krishsam did a great job. He has a natural sense of touch, and performed a variety of moves with appropriate pressure and sensitivity. He had a pleasant personality and I enjoyed our conversation. Overall, I was very pleased with the exchange.
Every massage I've had from Jimmy has been outstanding. His training and thoroughness are excellent; he always finds and works the minor muscles most therapists overlook. At the same time, the flow and rhythm of his hands keep the session from feeling anything approaching clinical. His technical expertise is balanced with intuitive artistry, resulting in those massage sessions that are beyond description. A true master of the craft.

In my 20 years of receiving bodywork, this session rates among the top in terms profound healing experiences. As soon as IMAJW put his hands on my feet, I knew he was a talented and gifted healer. At first, it felt like good (sometimes intense) work on my feet. As the session progressed, however, I felt myself dropping into a deep relaxation and later into an almost trance-like state. I could feel energy releases and shifts in different parts of my body, and by the time the session ended, I was in an altered state. I woke up later in the night and could feel subtle energy flowing through my body. I awoke and felt refreshed like I haven't felt in ages. I am completely sold on the effectiveness and benefits of reflexology.
Despite the "woo-woo" sound of all of this, IMAJW and his approach are extremely down-to-earth and well-grounded. He is genuinely kind and sincere, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. Incredible work from a terrific guy!

tpfeil is a gentleman in all respects, with a friendly and low-key disposition. His massage was fluid and graceful with just the appropriate amount of pressure, and I was in another world when I got off the table. His working space is incredible, too. I highly recommend his work!
hoover offered a choice of swedish deep tissue or ashiatsu (oriental bar) therapy for our trade. I tried the ashiatsu, in which she used her bare feet to work the tissue. I expected the work would be deep, but did not expect the unique fluid rhythm and flow of the session. Even more surprising was the precision of the work that could be done using the feet. It was a great experience and I will be recommending her to friends (and maybe even a client or two!) hoover is a kind-hearted soul whose work is marked with a sense of honor for the body and the person she is working with. I recommend her highly!
