I contacted J to welcome him to the group shortly after he joined. My intention was to open up communication for a possible future swap. He responded & we were able to set up a session quite quickly.
I hosted in Leeds, he arrived promptly & we got on well. He has received many massages but given few, so I worked on him first, treating it as a tutorial as well as a massage. Things flowed well he seemed to relax & enjoy the massage, even though there was quite a lot of dialogue. With the whole body available I tend to work intuitively, with a freestyle approach. On reflection many of the strokes might have been a bit complcated for a beginner to pickup but I recognised some of them when it was my turn to receive! J used a gentle nurturing touch & I enjoyed my session of receiving, which flowed well. His hands were noticibly warm as he started working, which I take as a good indication of energy flow. He seemed quite competent & confident, this is likely to develop as he swaps further sessions & his style of massage develops. J lives relatively close to me & passes my house regularly, so we should be able to set up further sessions quite easily. I highly recommend him for swapping a session of massage. |
