"C" is enthusiastic with great potential. He enjoys giving & receiving massage, while being open to learning new ways of working. He has only given about 3 sessions but is well worth a swap or two! On this basis I have given him a 4* rating!
I hosted in Leeds on a Sunday afternoon. I have a therapy room set up. We had exchanged several emails before we could arrange a mutually convenient time. His partner is also listed but was not available. I had hoped to set up a 4-handed session, which would have been useful for demonstration & practice. I worked first on "C's" back, then he worked on mine, before moving to the front of the body. I used the session as a tutorial, giving general pointers & suggestions. I have used massage for more than 20 years & have a few qualifications. He was able to to relax well into the process. He seemed to enjoy giving a massage as he worked on me & had definitely picked up some of the strokes I had used. I was able relax & let go. He was good company & we discussed a lot over the 5 hours, finishing with coffee & christmas cake as the snow lay melting outside. |
