| I had a very relaxing massage swap with TrapeziusSE13 in April. Apologies for the delay in reviewing but I've been away. TrapeziusSE13 is undergoing a formal massage training course and we started off with TrapeziusSE13 taking me through a questionnaire for his course to identify any contraindications. He offered to work on any particular areas that were bothering me and concentrated on my back, shoulders and head. He clearly knows what he's doing and I found it very relaxing. I also appreciated his feedback on my massage at the time and subsequently in his review. I'd certainly be interested in meeting TrapeziusSE13 again. | |

Arranging a swap with Trapezius was straightforward and very business-like; his place is easy to find; he has a good massage set-up; and works with high-quality sunflower oil.
As a massage student part-way through his course this man is a real credit to his teachers; he is clearly learning very effectively, and he applies his new knowledge with care, detail, and a fine sense of rhythm. The 'consultation' & history taking was speedy, efficient and comprehensive; quite a rarity in this swapping group. I really enjoyed the massage I received; but it was clear that he is a "work in progress" and there is an obvious capability to improve to a very high standard with more knowledge and practise. I really want to swap with him again when he has learned more, practised more, and swapped more. So I encourage you all to approach him to arrange a swap. He clearly keeps himself fit and is an appreciative receiver of massage. I now have to say that I feel rather guilty only assessing with 4 - stars. This is not intended to disparage him at all; it is an indication of my confidence that he will get better and better with more time, training, and practise. A massage star in the making! |

| Arranging an exchange with GuildfordExpertMasseur was easy and clear.
He is an amicable and cheerful therapist with a firm and experienced touch. He is remarkably knowledgeable when it comes to anatomy and gave me a full body massage while naming the muscles as he worked. This consisted of a sports massage palpation, followed by remedial Swedish work, using a wide variety of types of massage, stretches and mobilisations to successively relax muscles identified as tight. GuildfordExpertMasseur was mindful and reassuring throughout the massage, encouraging me to adjust to become comfortable at any time. When it comes to receiving massage, I found GuildfordExpertMasseur extremely appreciative and completely disposed to relax as soon as the massage commenced. Exchanging a massage proved an invaluable insight, as did his aftercare advice - thanks again GuildfordExpertMasseur! Hoping to arrange another exchange soon. |
