This is a long overdue review as Horsehead and I exchanged back in May of 2024. I was suffering at the time with sciatica and was in a lot of pain. He’s a pro. Both gifted and very knowledgeable.
Our session couldn’t have been easier. I was visiting the DC area and we simply set a time and I visited his studio. He’s a nice guy and we established a nice rapport immediately, then undressed and he gave me an incredible therapeutic stretching massage unlike any that I have had, before or sence. He definitely knows his craft. Nice guy with a private studio with parking in a quiet neighborhood. I highly recommend recommend him. Thank you Horsehead.
Horsehead is highly recommended! He's warm, friendly, caring and easy to converse with. Great hands and technique, was happy to adjust pressure and techniques, and happily provided extra work for tough areas. Host location was clean, warm and comfortable. Hope to exchange again very soon!
I received a very good session with Horsehead massage was perfect. Using different techniques of AIS and deep tissue and pressure points.
He is very helpful with instructing and teaching. jagers asked him to show me a few different modalities. Some samples. Now I have something new to research. I liked these new and different techniques. He has lots of experience and it shows. Horsehead personality is calm and full of (calming) energy perfect for a professional exchange.
jagers started the session by having Horsehead on the table. Which is perfect for me. I would’ve preferred that we swap halfway in between. This time , as he is the host, I did front and back on him. Then I got on the table. Which is always nice to be the last person massaged because you can just lay there and relax.
I am looking forward to getting feedback on the techniques and mode that I used. How I can to improve, etc. jagersdefinitely will go back when I’m in town again.
My session with Horsehead was very awesome. He is great at communicating and has a tremendous knowledge base that he works off and really at some great feedback for my massage to make it better next time. He had a really nice mix of modalities he put into his massage and it was a great and unique experience. His skills are top notch and I'd gladly go see him in his office for regular sessions and not just a trade. His stretching skills are pretty awesome and it was truly a pleasure to work with him.
I had a great session with Hoursehead. He was very friendly and inviting. His was professional, verbal and willing to share his knowledge of massage. If you every have the opportunity to have an exchange or Massage I highly recommend him. Thank you for a great session. I hope to get a Vance to exchange with Hoursehead again soon.
I have had massages for 30 years. Most people learn a trade and that is good for the rest of their life. Horsehead has continued learning everything and anything to make him the outstanding massage therapist that he has become. I am truly humbled in exchanging with him. It just can not get any better than this! My body gives Horsehead Ten stars in technical skills, Ten stars in sensual skills, Ten stars in personality skills.
I just finished an exchange with Horsehead. What a great guy, He had me start the exchange and I thought I did a good job until I got on the table and he started. I have had one of the best massages I have ever had today. He explained everything he was doing just before he did that section my body. He kept checking to make sure the pressure was not to hard and he was spot on in his technique and pressure. Horsehead knows what he is doing and offers wellness and massage advise. He advised me to use more body weight rather than muscles to achieve the needed pressure and results so as not to get tired to quickly when massaging. He also showed me a movement to stretch muscles to relieve some of my back stress and pain. He was very helpful and certainly hope that we can exchange again.
At my request, Horsehead spent the entire session doing AIS stretching, which is one of modalities that he has had extensive training as a professional bodywork therapist. He knows his stuff, exactly how every muscle reacts to each stretch. The time passed too quickly.
wow. Horsehead is the real deal. he knows his anatomy really well too. calls out the muscle, properly stretches it out and then digs in. great touch and mind set. floated off the table and can't wait to land there again. he is a natural born healer.
Horsehead and I had an exchange at his cozy home. He is affable and very welcoming. His deep tissue massage technique is refined, smoothly delivered and with the perfect amount of pressure. Knows his anatomy and had a real passion for bodywork. I hope to exchange again. My whole being felt great all week.
