Recently did an exchange with Grancanaria while staying at his quiet house in a beautiful valley in Gran Canaria.
We set up his massage plinth in a heated outdoor covered terrace. I was happy to show him the basic strokes and help him try them out. He has given massages before and I was happy to give him some feedback to improve his technique. He took the feedback on board and we had a good exchange. He also has some nice intuitive strokes as well. I know he'll only improve with practice. |

I had an exchange with Bill6 recently.
He showed up bang on time, which is always appreciated. We did a back and forth exchange, doing one body part, then swapping. I find this good when someone is learning, as otherwise there can be a problem with information overload. Bill6 proved to be an excellent student, even remembering the names of the strokes, which surprised me. Although he says he is a beginner he proved to be a fast learner, with excellent pressure and good strokes. In addition, he's easy to talk to and very relaxed. All in all, an excellent exchange. |

Joe33 called around for an exchange the other night. He gives a really good massage with strong pressure. He listens to advice and tries to implement any strokes he is shown.
He's personable and friendly and I'm looking forward to exchanging again when he's next in town. |

I had the pleasure of an exchange with tomek1tomek1 the other day. First off, he travelled a considerable distance to do the exchange, which was really appreciated.
He is currently studying and brought his notes from college so he could ask about and practice particular techniques. It's always great to meet someone else who is so interested. When receiving he pays close attention so he can replicate strokes. He has really good basic techniques and is a really nice guy. I'm happy to recommend him and look forward to the next exchange. |

Recently met JackInLA for an exchange.
As promised, he arrived promptly. He is very polite and interested in learning. JackInLA gives a good massage, better than he gives himself credit for. We had a quick chat about what we both wanted to achieve. He was perhaps nervous about giving me a treatment, but as I've said many times before, any therapist is grateful for a treatment when it's delivered by someone who is eager to provide a good treatment. We swapped frequently during the treatment, after doing each body part. This allows someone with less experience to practice what they have learned immediately. JackInLA is a perfect recipient and reciprocator who is unfailingly polite, respectful and also an interesting guest. Looking forward to our next exchange. Rated more than satisfactory. |

I recently completed a massage exchange with Monty2235 at my home. He arrived on time and told me that this is just his second exchange.
We chatted for a while about what he wants to be able to do. Like a lot of newbies, he wants to give a good massage, but is a bit put-off by not knowing what to expect or how to give a massage. I gave him a few tips about preparing the environment (lighting, heat, comfort, music and so on) and we agreed for me to demonstrate and then he'd try stuff. We did a long session, with a lot of time chatting also about how to massage. He's very enthusiastic and gives a good basic massage. He's eager to learn and put anything he learns into practice. I'd recommend him for anyone who's prepared to take their time and show him the basics, or anyone who is also an enthusiastic amateur. I'd be happy to exchange again and can see him improving in the future. |

Beho is an excellent therapist, with very good techniques. He's very friendly and welcoming and very eager to learn new techniques and strokes.
Beho hosted the session and we had an interesting conversation about different therapies before starting. It was so interesting that we had to remind ourselves of the purpose of meeting! We worked on small areas before swapping, this was a better way to learn new techniques. Beho is very interested in learning new techniques and is a very good partner for anyone who is interested in massage, especially different modalities. Thoroughly recommended and looking forward to exchanging again. |

I met Alamm12 recently for an exchange. He arrived on time and we spent a little time chatting before our exchange. He's a nice guy who has a genuine interest in massage.
He maintained that he isn't very good and isn't experienced. I found that he is very keen to learn. To try to keep it simple I showed him some basic strokes, plus did one or two more advanced techniques. He was eager to try not just the basic strokes but also to have a go at the more advanced one. I think that this is an important trait to have when learning, be prepared to have a go. As the session went on, I felt that he improved and I feel that it won't be long before he give a really good massage. I'd be happy to exchange again. |

I recently exchanged with Lmr in his place. He has recently completed his studies. He is a very friendly and engaging guy and shows a great interest in massage and energy therapies.
The main purpose of the exchange was that he was feeling sore after intense gym workouts, so we did some work on him first, including some stretches. He is a very open guy and we had a really interesting conversation about different techniques and therapies. His treatment was very good and I'd imagine that, with his interest and continued studies, it will be no time before he moves into the highly recommended category. |

I met with LasPalmas50 while on holidays. It's always nice to be able to arrange an exchange while away, sometimes you get to know new techniques, and always you get to know new people.
LasPalmas50 travelled a long distance by bus to complete the exchange, which is always appreciated. As I was hosting in my holiday bungalow the set up was not ideal, but we made the best of it. He's an educated guy, friendly and eager to give a good massage. His strokes are good, with a nice pressure. I'd recommend him if you are holidays in this part of the world. |
