This was a truly rewarding massage exchange, both in terms of what I was able to give and receive. As Dallas1951's profile mentions, he is HIV positive. I'm not. Both I and my wife of 20 years grew up in the height of the AIDS scare in the 80's. But I also know that if I harbor my ignorance and isolate from "those people", we both lose in the process.
Dallas1951 is a patient and thorough massage giver. I never had the sense that there was any rush so that he could have his turn. In fact, I think it was the longest massage I've ever had. But again, there was never any sense that it was an issue. He truly enjoyed giving the gift. And when it was his turn, it was equally positive. He gave good feedback about what felt good and what muscles needed work - based on his feedback I think we found some around the ribs, shoulder, and body cavity that don't usually get attention. He was appreciative of what I gave, and perfectly respectful of my boundaries. He is also fun just to talk to. :-) |

I had a very good massage exchange with Rick. He is personable and insightful, and communicates his preferences with respect and consideration for both parties. It was also clear that he has a fair amount of massage experience. Both medium and light touch were very skillfully used.
