I had the pleasure of my first ever Massageexchange.com meeting with Joan this evening and it was a lovely experience. She is a friendly, kind lady and has a nice space for doing the massage, with a lovely table, oils and perfect music. A chat before we started was nice and then she gave me a lovely relaxing massage which was better that many "professionals" I have paid to visit. I then gave her a massage and hope and think she enjoyed it, she was relaxed and just laid there, making the massage easy and enjoyable to do.
I really hope to see her again sometime in the near future and would recommend her to anybody who enjoy's a relaxing and pleasant time |

I've now had the pleasure of exchanging with Joan while I was in London. Joan has already shown herself to be a committed member of massageexchange.com and the benefits of being so come through in the many positive reviews she's received. I'm now pleased to add another!
Joan is a very warm, friendly and welcoming lady who immediately put me at ease. We had a great chat to begin with before exchanging massage set to some lovely music! Joan has built up a good repertoire of massage skills over the years which she used to great effect. The massage was slow, extremely relaxing, soothing and a throughly pleasant experience. A lovely evening all round. Highly recommended. |

She has some very interesting tequniques some of which I had not experienced before which made the massage truly enjoyable. Have had a few exchanges with Joan.
She is such an interesting person to talk to with an amazing job, taking her all over the world-so we normally start with a good old catch up before getting down to massage. Joan is very experienced and brings the wealth of knowledge to bear with her long soft strokes connecting both phusically and spiritually taking you to another place. Equally joan is a pleasure to work on and on the last exchange I just focussed on doing the massage and found that a great experience giving a good 2 hours to hopefully leave Joan relaxed and content. Joan accommadates and has a relaxed and safe environment and would fully recommend. |

| Joan was my first exchange, I was slightly nervous, but she was wonderful. We had an interesting chat, which put me at my ease, and then she gave me a really lovely proper massage, something I had never actually experienced before. The ambience, temperature, massage table, music, and Joan were all spot on... I then massaged her, trying to use the same techniques that she had used on me. She seemed to be very happy with my touch and I certainly enjoyed the giving experience. A lovely way to spend a (long) Sunday afternoon, & we both know that we will certainly repeat the exchange soon. | |

I prefer a firm touch, sports massage or to go deep into my muscles, but I really enjoyed the light full length body strokes demonstrated by Joan, who certainly has a unique touch which is very effective and deeply relaxing, i've met with Joan twice now, who is always very welcoming. I am looking forward to my next visit. Thanks Joan!!!

I had the great pleasure of exchanging with Joan. What a lovely Lady! Very hospitable and friendly. She is not a trained therapist however she certainly knows about massage. She is skilful and knows how to touch and apply great pressure to make you feel that you are floating.

i met joan last week for a massage.
The setting was as you would expect in a massage spa. A great massage bed, excellent music variation, along with commentary about the composers etc. Joan knows how to relieve tension, stress and does it all with passion. She leaves you feeling fulfilled.! fully recommended mick |

I spent a very enjoyable evening with joanc53. I was put at ease as soon as i walked into her house. We chatted and discussed many things. Then it was time to start. We started with her massaging me, despite my offer to start on her. She put me at ease on her table giving me a long and thorough massage. I learnt many things and whilst I wont be able to use some....it made my massage very enjoyable.
Then it was my turn to massage. joanc53 surrendered her body to my touches, making it a very easy job to massage and relax her. I completed a massage of every inch of her body, it was easy to see what she enjoyed and i concentrated on those areas. I have to say it was a great evening. Not just the massage but the host was very interesting. I will be asking for a repeat! |

She first massaged me and her technique was amazing and her touch had me in ecstasy! We swapped positions and hopefully I managed to use some of the strokes she taught me to relax and please her. I arrived at Joan's door on the recommendation of one of my exchanges and was made extremely welcome by this delightful lady. Forget that she sees herself as an amateur her massage is superb, relaxing me then varying pressures before tantalising with the lightest of strokes. Far better than many professional therapists I have encountered.

What can I say great, wonderful just what I needed, soon as I arrived I was made at ease with Joan's caring thoughtful nature. The massage I guess this is what you need to know, well the whole experience was lovely her moves of Lomi Lomi style with a few added tones from Swedish and others worked wonders. Joan has her own style which works very well and with her own table so comfy you just drift away into that place we all hope of finding and you will.

After reading more than 35 excellent reviews about joanc53, I thought I had to try and the experience was even better than I thought. We had a nice chat before the massage, being very welcome and kind. She had a massage table, really comfortable and strong. The music was perfect, soft and relaxing, the lights were dimmed a little. The massage itself was superb. I specially liked how she flowed from one movement to the next, there was never a break, as if all the massage was made of just one very long stroke. She has developped a very good routine, with perfect simetry, so once she's done a side of the body you know exactly what to expect in the other.
So, a wonderful experience, highly highly recommended. The only bad thing: it was snowing when I got out to the street!! (but that's someone else to blame) |
