2020 and COVID-19 update: Another exciting chapter in my life - I have moved to Southend and my new home boasts its own massage room! I have also gone fully professional but I am happy to do massage exchange with experienced and qualified practitioners and do the occasional free massage on here. I am fully qualified, insured and licensed, I am pointing this out as we are living in interesting times and I am therefore pleased to confirm that my practice is COVID-19 safe and up to standards.
2019 update: After nearly 2 years of leaving my account barren I have come back and am happy to host and receive the occasional treatment. Some further good news, I am now a qualified massage therapist in Holistic Massage, Therapeutic Massage and Indian Head Massage, plus am a 2nd degree Reiki practitioner, and have clocked a number of hours volunteering. I have realised my dream of training in Reflexology and Aromatherapy (for the record I can offer both modalities however these are not covered by insurance).
Quick Update: Many thanks to everyone who has been a practice body in the past few weeks while I was preparing for my exams. I have happily passed the exam, and am now waiting for the results from the theory part to come in as well as for that famous piece of paper to arrive in the post. I'm taking a small break with giving massages now though I still aim to do 1 or 2 a week, during this time I will catch up on Reiki. More massage related courses to follow in spring.
I have been keenly interested in massage and in particular East Asian massage techniques for over 20 years. I am also an amateur in aromatherapy and reflexology. Proudly own two Master massage tables, one for hosting and one for call outs, as well as a massage chair which will come into good use when I start my on-site massage course.
