I have spent my working life supporting young people with difficulties as youth worker and counsellor. Following the death of my wife I came to massage via experience Ayuvedic practice in India. After an operation which limited my capacity for exercise along with living alone I found massage extremely helpful as another way of working the muscles and discovered it other healing qualities of touch intimacy and connection. I find these aspects fit together in the sense that whereas my working life was of caring for others massage is allowing others to care for me in a structure with clear boundaries. I have also experience massage in the Philippines. Having been a regular recipient here I enjoy applying my this and my intuitive skills with the body, rather than the mind and emotions. It is good to be a learner and share the experience mostly without words. A few years ago I had a successful operation for cancer but which left side effects. Recently I have developed a dry skin my Dr prescribes body cream which I now need used rather than oil. It is also very good for the hands and arms of my masseuse! I have weekly sometimes more/. But let me give you lovely massage to deep communication but with few words!
