Thought I ought to add I have a congenital (that means I have had it from birth!) condition called Klinefelters' Syndrome which, if left untreated, exposes me to osteoporosis. The treatment is regular Testosterone injections as I have little naturally. The other issues this condition predesposes me to are poor muscular development, weight gain in some areas more common to women (so I have big hips, bum & a bit of fat on my chest, but the gym work I do does offset this a lot, so I am heavy with the muscle I do have!) and infertility (hence no children!).
An osteopath friend has treated me for nearly twenty years now and continuously urges me to continue the weight bearing work I do done the gym, to keep my muscle strength up, as well as improve my posture. But one of the best ways of keeping supple & fit is Massage, so this is why I am keen to keep it up, plus I DO enjoy receiving & giving.
I have no formal training - its eveything I have picked up visiting all sorts of massage therapists, parlours, friends in Glastonbury etc that have given me some knowledge of massage. I like experimenting too so have recently started looking into pure tantric but as yet not had the pleasure of trying it.
My interests are being out in the countryside (don't much care for city life as I grew up in a SW London suburb, hill & (not so much these past years) mountain walkling, astronomy, photography, off-roading, track & country driving, gym & racketball.
