More About Me
I'll be honest, I'm pretty intimidated by everyone's
credentials on here! Haha. I recently joined this
community because very interested in pursuing massage
therapy as a hobby and potentially a career. As an athlete I have always been
interested in human physiology and read plenty on
massage techniques, benefits, etc. Actually, in college, I
would often enjoy giving massages to my cross
country & track teammates. I know the tension release and improvement in muscle
vitality helped to make me a faster runner. Since I moved out
to LA (from Louisville, Ky) I've talked to a number of
counselors at massage schools just to get an idea of the
level of commitment needed to take classes. Fortunately and
unfortunately I love my job as an entrepreneur of a vegan food business and can't see myself giving it up at
this point. Even though it keeps me super busy I'm still interested in learning more and experiencing bodywork with other seekers and professionals in this field. I love life. I
love learning. And I love helping people.
Appearance, or what to expect when we meet...
I'm a former competitive runner and keep in great shape. I think I
supplied all the other stats on my profile. I would say that my demeanor is naturally relaxing. All in all, I'm pretty chill and adaptable and ready to listen so I can help release muscle tension as best I can. Dress wise, as a
professional, I keep clean and dress well. (Lol- is that
what I'm supposed to say on this???)
What I am looking for...
Someone that I can connect with intuitively and naturally.
As conversation moves along, I expect to share their experiences and create space for understanding and trust together. I would prefer a 50/50 trade in sessions but would gladly provide my best (non-sexual please) massage with or without
a trade. Simply - If I can help relieve muscle tension or even be an encouraging companion... let's be friends!
