To give or receive touch is an opportunity to connect. You can express so many things with touch. Sometimes I've met and massaged with few or no words, though this only works with those who want it.
I don't have any formal training in massage, although I still know the anatomy from a previous career as a doctor. As a sometimes competitive person, there's an escapist freedom in just being with touch.
Outside work in software design, music (piano, cello) running, dancing and swimming are other directions in which I focus my energies.
