I have done massage in a variety of settings, including day spas, resort spas, and prep work for chiropractic adjustments. I believe that in fixing problem areas, you will feel some pain, but it should be the hurts so good kind of pain, rather than some form of torture. I am very intuitive when it comes to finding problems and knowing just the right amount of pressure to give. I am also well versed in teaching others, but am always wanting and willing to learn.
I am a third-generation hypnotherapist, who has learned how to incorporate the two modalities together. Originally, I had used some massage to relax the person so the hypnosis would be more effective. Then I discovered how hypnosis would make massage even more incredible than it already is. It is easier to remove pain when you first have the person visualize it, then see it leaving. It is easier to feel recharged when you see energy flowing into you with each breath, or feel a tingly electricity flowing from the therapist's fingertips.
