More About Me
I've been a therapist since 2005 and work soley for myself. I like meeting new people and helping others get relief from whatever discomfort they may be experiencing. I am able to use light to medium pressure. I love to do the work intuitively but have a tendency to get a bit analytical in my work also, I want to "know" what I'm doing medically speaking. I guess you can say I work both left and right brained when I give massages. I like to learn from others, just as long as your not the "pushy" type, you know what I mean? I feel comfortable most around those that are laid back and can have fun during a session but can still be focused on the work at the same time. I can be a bit sensitive to the energy in a massage too and tend to pick up on things when massaging others, that's usually when my compassionate side gets revved up and I start feeling a lot of empathy towards the individual I'm working on. If this makes sense to you and I don't sound weird, then you and I would probably be a great fit! :)
More additional updated info: I may begin to include reiki into my sessions as I begin a new path in that direction. My intuitive work as a therapist has increased tremendously and as I'm at the point where once my hands are on an individual I can know exactly where a problem is even before I touch the area. In my minds eye I can see what is going on below the tissue and can feel what the client is feeling while they are on the table almost as if I'm massaging myself, ha ha... Some of you out there may know 'exactly' what I mean by this, it's an unbelievable experience. My work, although still very grounded in treating the individuals pain, is becoming more and more oriented towards energy work, which I absolutely love! Hope to find other energy healers out there as well who still love to give a good firm pressure massage while at it! I'm sure you're out there!
