Over the past few years I got interested in learning more about pressure point treatments and stress reduction type massage to help family and friends with headaches and migraines. I began reading books and watching many hours of online video tutorials in my spare time. Each time I was able to get a massage myself I asked the therapist as many questions as they would allow. Working a full time technical job requires routine after hours project work and some On-call activity. About 5 years ago I got a table and have used it on multiple occasions and got great feedback with these type of opportunities. I realized that not only did the receivers of the massages get big relief from stress that I myself got extremely relaxed. I continue to realize a great empowerment feeling when the people I work on tell me how great they feel. Opportunities have come in spurts to work on friends and family. This summer I began working with an experienced LMT that is a next door neighbor and she began sharing manuals, training me on some procedures and methods. She hasn't always been available due to various medical issues. I am looking for a great enthusiast and/ or LMT that would love to help with continued learning and get as many free massages as they would like in return. Look forward to some trades or would be just as satisfied if someone is a receiver-only and provides feedback. I am in a Sr. level Network Engineering position and giving massages reduces my stress levels tremendously. Enjoy those invites to bring the table over and work on a small group after a "girls night out" for example. Married for more than 18 years with 3 children. Now I have over a dozen frequents from the community that I work on. Last year i built a dedicated massage room with all of the equipment and lighting choices to set a mood. Love to find chances to expand my side passion and drive up my knowledge. My largest passions are Swedish, deep tissue, esalen massage and Lomi Lomi styles.
