Massage is an important part of my daily health program. I try to get a legitimate therapeutic massage at least once a month. Sometimes these are deep tissue sports massages but I am also beginning to include Thai massage into the mix.
Since my therapists are also good friends outside of their studios I have found that massage is a way for us to connect in a deeper way.
Years ago, one therapist took me under his wing and gave me individualized lessons. I have found that I can learn from every massage I receive and when something done is particularly pleasing I simply ask, "How did you do that?" and the therapist is more than happy to show me.
I like sharing what I know and learning new methods from others.
