Although I log in as "enthusiast", I did attend Acupressure Institute in Berkeley, CA in 2003 and received 150 hour certificate of completion in acupressure. I didn't include that in my profile because it was so long ago and it's only 150 hours. And so while it met San Francisco's licensing requirements at the time, it doesn't meet California's newer, current 500hr requirement. I also attended World School of Massage in 2016 and was going for the 500hr. certification. But that school lost it's approval status with the state for teaching "vibrational healing massage" that was not approved. Therefore, I login as "enthusiast".
I feel most natural giving Swedish/Deep Tissue, and Tui Na/Acupressure style massage. And although I've never trained in Lomi Lomi, one person described what I do as being like Lomi Lomi.
I'm open to receiving all kinds of styles, but have a preference towards deep tissue including Sport, Deep Tissue, Tui Na, Jin Shin, Shiatsu, Thai, or your own intuitive style.
For work, I drive a lot and spend time in a sedentary position behind the wheel, hence, my interest in massage exchange.
