More About Me

After a lifelong interest in massage and therapeutic touch and with decades of coaxing by friends and family, I retired from a 17 year career at the National Association for Homecare and Hospice and became a nationally certified and VA State licensed massage therapist. I am a married father of two grown daughters. My wife is a federal budget officer and cancer survivor and I have a daughter with a chronic genetic disorder who is interested in public health and another with a PhD in neuroscience. My oldest client was 103 years old and my youngest was a 15 year old high school student. I have had the privilege to provide more than 1,000 massages on a wide variety of clients, including post-surgical patients, oncology patients, recently widowed, as well as, a wounded warrior, marathon runners, an Olympic hopeful and an Olympian. When I'm not practicing massage I enjoy theater, live music, poetry and song writing.
