Since my early teens, I have worked with children with Cerebral Palsy, initially as a volunteer at a local ( London) hospital, in the hydrotherapy dept. which sparked my interest in the benefit derived from manipulation of the human physique and the use of massage, physiotherapy and later the eastern arts of acupressure, aromatherapy ( essential oil treatment) and Reiki, to name but few! I was successful in business and did not need to rely on healing skills for income, which could compromise ones gift in my idiosyncratic thinking! I met Professor and Mrs Bobath in the early 70s and worked with them closely until their deaths, studying their work, therapies and even participating in the design, construction and development of the center in London, a beacon worldwide for the training and development of advanced physiotherapy for the treatment of children with neurological or physical disability and adults with stroke or accident caused impairment. I still enjoy helping people overcome pain, stress, anxiety etc. through the attributes gleaned over decades of study and interest.
