My job requires that I stand a lot and am also hunched over a laptop for quite some hours in a day. I end up with stiff neck and shoulder muscles and aching legs at the end of the day. I started going for massages to relieve the aches and pains and have thoroughly enjoyed them over the years. It was through a friend who enjoys massages that I found out about this site and thought I'd give it a try. I do not have any formal massage training sad to say. The only knowledge I have has been garnered through experiencing massages, both good and bad, through the years. I therefore apply what I like when I give a massage. I know what works for me and feels good to me and I replicate that. i don't know if that makes me a bad masseuse but I haven't had any complaints thus far. i guess the only way to find out is to give me a try. I love firm massages so I generally go for men as they have stronger fingers or should I say, have more strength!
