More About Me (Therapeutic Directory)
I have been working in a health care setting for almost 20 years. I use massage extensively for therapeutic reasons and have had much success with my treatment. I use mostly deep tissue techniques but can adapt to softer techniques. I am interested in learning more about hot stone treatment techniques and plan on taking some classes in the future, although I currently only use my hands rather than instrument assisted massage techniques. I find that using my hands gives me much better intuition as to what tissues need and what direction to go for the most beneficial treatment.
