I studied for a year, 1000 hour course 30 years ago and after working as a therapist for two years, left the field but continued to practice occasionally. Then I helped run a massage program for 1.5 years as a manager and occasional teacher. I do not work now in the field, but do give weekly massages to folks as a side job.
