I have been giving massage for years for friends and family. I owned a massage table long before I was licensed. I've enjoyed helping to relieve pain and giving comfort to people I care about. I was a member at Massage Envy for two years when they invited me to join the team and gave me a list of institutions in my area that had classes enrolling soon. I followed that opportunity and took classes for licensure in Massage and Bodywork in South Carolina. After graduating, I was hired on at Massage Envy and began to build a client base when my partner's work brought us to New York. The requirements for licensure are different and I cannot practice professionally at this time. I find massage rewarding and enriching and as any LMT will tell you, I really miss getting regular massage after regular sessions with coworkers and fellow students.
