I've been receiving therapeutic massage for about 15 years and adore it! Reflexology, Indian head massage, shiatsu and cranio-sacral therapy are amongst my favourites for holistic well-being and invoking emotional release. I've also tried a few sessions of Zero Balancing, Arvigo and Thai Yoga which also seem to give me deep relaxation and integration. Basically my primary love language is physical touch and I enjoy seeking out good practitioners for high-quality touch. I like to combine the experiences above with my coaching training in Clean Language and Metaphor Therapy to offer my own blend of transformative 'voicing touch' sessions. Perhaps a bit like BodyTalk or a version of Betty Martin's bossy massage (both of which I'm vaguely familiar with), my therapeutic sessions involve on-going, dynamic intention setting and voicing sensations, memories and metaphors when certain areas of the body are touched. Touch could be acupressure, rocking, tickling, holding, massage, stroking, body hugs or hands-off all allowing muscles and the body to release in their own time and way, with the right kind of touch being asked for by the person on the table, as well as with intuitive suggestions and discovery questions from myself. It's new for me to work in this way and I'm keen to practice with those open to or seeking powerful therapeutic and transformative experiences. As for being on the table, happy to exchange for Swedish, deep tissue or any of my favourites listed above :)
