More About Me (Therapeutic Directory)

About twelve years ago, a dear friend of mine convinced me to take a massage class. I loved it so much I ended up taking four more classes. For the next several years, my friend and I organized regular massage sessions where we massaged many of our friends and acquaintances. It was a wonderful time of learning and discovery. I found that although I enjoy receiving massages (who doesn't?) I get great pleasure in giving a good massage. The act of giving a relaxing massage is in itself a therapeutic and Zen-like experience for me. I often find myself refreshed and rejuvenated after having given a massage. A few years ago, my friend moved away and I now miss him greatly. He has gone on to take up massage and healing at a professional level and is doing exceptionally well. I decided that a good way to stay connected with him and to keep my interest alive is to continue to massage as a hobby whenever I find the time. I hope to find like-minded massage enthusiasts here and make some lasting connections.
