As a former actor/singer/dancer, I'm very attuned to the needs of my body. I've been told that I have great hands and a good sense of what to do as a lay massage enthusiast. I also can offer some breathing/relaxation/body alignment exercises from my theater days which are complementary to relaxing massage. I also am a certified hypnotist, and can combine hypnotic suggestion and guided relaxation with physical work. I look forward to working with massage practitioners to see how these elements could be combined effectively. This can include release of psychological pain which manifests itself as physical tension or inhibition.
