I am a retired industrial engineer. Approximately 30 years ago I dated a licensed clinical massage therapist. She had a therapeutic practice as well. Her practice trained students entering the field of clinical massage therapy. At the time I trained intensely 7 days at week resulting a body fat of @6 or 7 % (sorry, not anymore!) She used be as the "model" for hands on training for her students. During that time, I received instructions from her on the methods and techniques of giving and receiving massages. Having had physical injuries and understanding how the body works, helps me address the trouble areas when giving massages.
