More About Me (Therapeutic Directory)

I am a graduate of the San Francisco School of Massage in 1974 & the L.A. College of Massage & Physical Therapy in 1975. I am trained in 9 massage modalities. I started by doing just Swedish full body massage & as I worked with people they asked if I could do deeper massage on them. So, I got training to do that after the first 5 years of massaging. The remaining 25 years were practicing & teaching both full body massage & deep tissue body work. I am an artist also in several mediums. My last work was in stained glass. My grandmother starting me massaging her when I was a small child when I visited her at her ranch in Arizona. That was from the time I was 7 years old to 13. My mother had 12 brothers & sisters & I had a lot of cousins also. I would massage family members only as I was growing up. Actually I was more interested in becoming a Dentist. I was a Navy dental tech/paramedic in the vietnam war & after I was released with an honorable discharge I went to College for dentistry but dropped out within 2 years. I had discovered that Massaging was my real calling. I became retired from professional massage in 2005. And, I've always enjoyed giving & getting massaged.
