More About Me
Have been injured and try to live with chronic pain. Most recently both feet, multiple surgeries on both knees, wrists operated on (carpal tunnel), and broke back in 1989-mobile, but has led to ‘other’ conditions. Yeah, my body is kind of a wreck, but the world keeps turning and I’m not done living yet :)
When I was more ‘able bodied’, I enjoyed many outpost activities; skiing, hiking, climbing, backwoods camping, etc. I have been a volunteer leader for an outdoor youth group for over 30 years and love it.
I enjoy woodworking and have a background in mechanics, basically things that keep my hands busy. This is probably why I also like performing magic.
My sense of humour can best be described as ‘licorice’ like ... dark and twisted. I am not one that is easily offended.
At the time of this writing, I am on disability (been almost 2 years now) waiting for surgery on both feet (June 21, 2019). Not sure just how my body will react on top of everything else, but I always smile .... it keeps people wondering what I’ve been up to (lol).
I stumbled across this site by accident, and massages definitely help reduce my pains. My family do what they can in this respect, but it is very limited. I figured I have nothing to lose by signing up. I am open to be practiced on, and am willing to try to return massages too (as best as my body will let me).
