Although not professionally trained, I have spent most of my adult life giving and receiving informal massages, learning from Asian and European friends proficient in Shiatsu, deep-tissue, energy and healing work. I am empathetic, giving and safe; aware of my massage partner's needs and what feels good; open to explore yet respectful of boundaries; and can respond to guidance and requests. I love a strong, firm massage, and can give one if needed. I am a therapist and counselor, working with emotional healing, personal growth, supporting healthy couples and communication. I know the healing power of healthy touch and use it in my work. My passions include music (guitar, piano, singing and performing as well as listening), nature, travel, swimming, golf when I can, Tai Chi and a bit of yoga.
