I have received approximately 15 massages. After the first few I started asking the masseur questions and learning some good techniques. I don’t subscribe to a particular style and have learned to first ask what areas I should focus on. I have learned about trigger point, which was too intense for me, but others might like it, and the big differences between rub downs and massages, rub downs being more general and massages being more symptom focused.
