I have been giving massages to people since I was in my teens. While I have no formal training, I have studied anatomy in my spare time, and have a decent grasp of how the muscles fit together, as well as how to work on them. My work, sadly, has to come in limited spurts due to a pinched nerve in my left arm, which is also why I gave up on the thought of doing bodywork professionally(it was a serious consideration prior to my injury).
I can do bodywork...I just can't do it for 8 hours straight, and that is more or less what would be required to be a professional masseuse.
I suffer from chronic muscle tension issues and trigger points due to my Generalized Anxiety Disorder. I'm badly in need of a fellow masseuse or masseur to help me work through the muscle problems I have. Please reach out to me if you feel the same way.
