I was diagnosed suffering ankylosing spondylitis in 2002 and have found temporary pain relief from deep tissue massage and at first chiropractic adjustment. I find the very essence of massage to be intimately relaxing and seems to have the “side effect” of reducing muscle and joint pain. Maybe even temporarily thru endorphins released.
