I am a self-taught massage practitioner providing services in Vermont for the past eight years. I would say the signature talent I possess is that people generally experience an immediate sense of deep relaxation within a short time of my beginning a massage. My basic working approach is that caring touch carries powerful healing promise. Also, I firmly believe that massage does not have to hurt to be effective. I enjoy focused work on hands and feet and though I don't practice reflexology I am familiar with the theory and have.incorporated it subtly in my foot massages with good results. I am aware of the general theory of acupressure and meridian points and energy work such as chakra theory, and again, incorporate this growing knowledge subtly in my work without emphasis or promises, though I feel I may have some talents along those lines yet to be formally developed.
