i began my massage career with my two older brothers that were wrestlers in high school. though they never would have, they threatened to beat me up if i did not massage their backs. that was when i was about 7. i learned very quickly how to get into musculature deeply and effectively. it also seemed, as became clear later, that i had a knack for finding trouble spots and relieving them. girl friends constantly "forced" me to give them massages as i was so good at it. i also have done many exchanges with professional CMTs who recognized my abilities - even though i was not traditionally trained. in fact, one of them gave me a quite pricey table as a result of me being the only local person that could help them with working out their issues. it would suffice to say, i am very good with my hands. i am by training a psychotherapist/counselor. so...
